Our Guest House is ideally located on Wat Bo Road, close enough to walk to the Old Market, but not too close to hear the hustle and bustle of the daytime activities. We are also close to the restaurants and bars of Pub Street, but you will not hear the loud music if you want to retire early to see the sunrise at 4:30am!The Old Market is approximately a 9 minute walk from the guesthouse and the Central Market is about a 6 minute walk. Siem Reap airport is 8km from the guest house and the bus station is only 3.5km away. If you reserve a room and let us know your arrival details, we will provide free pick up for you. However, most bus companies pick you up from the guest house anyway, so you should not have any problem if you are arriving or departing from the bus station.
Angkor Wat is 6km from the guest house. There are no guesthouses closer, because the Ancient City of Angkor is a conservation area so no guest houses are allowed to be built there.
When to visit Siem Reap
It does not really matter what time of year you visit, as the weather and climate in Siem Reap never prevents you from visiting the Angkor Temples.
However, the best time of year to visit Siem Reap is November, December, January and February, as these months are cool and dry with very little rain.
September and October are the rainy months, but it normally rains early morning or late afternoon and it rarely stops you from visiting the temples when the countryside is lush and green.
March, April and May are the hottest months of the year with very hot days and humid evenings.
